A short clip from a café in Busan has charmed South Korea this weekend. According to the Korea Herald, four elementary school pupils were given free croissants by the staff. They ate them, then came back and performed a keunjeol, the traditional Korean deep bow, to say thank you.

The café posted the security-camera footage on Friday. It said it does not normally share that kind of footage, but made an exception because the staff found the children’s response “too cute not to share.”

The video spread quickly online, with viewers praising both the children’s manners and the generosity of the people behind the counter. Neither the café nor the children have been named, which rather suits a story about a small kindness that was met with a much bigger thank-you than anybody expected.
